6.Fire Death and Fear
9.Thou Art Lord
11.Orders From the Dead (Diamanda Galas cover)
A new Rotting Christ Album is always something that causing storm the entire Hellenic Scene and a big part of the Dark Metal scene and a Part of the Black Metal scene(in the past was causing Storm only at the Black Scene...but that's old stories).Been a fan of Rotting Christ at least 12 years I couldn't resist the temptation to write a review about it.From 2000 Rotting Christ never stopped creating albums. From the weak and empty Khronos of 2000 to the alternative but not strong enough Gnesis of 2002.Then at 2004 is the album potato called Sactus Diavolos(That must be one of the worst albums that they released) but fortunately the Next album Theogonia was far away or should I say million...billion miles away better than its ancestors.AEALO which is an ancient Hellenic word that means "Fall"
is the title of their new album and when I heard the name of the LP a new hope birth Inside me for another good release of Rotting Christ as good as the "All Shall Fall"
from Immortal(did you get the meaning? Fall(AEALO) All Shall Fall)
Aealo sounds more folk with an extremely use of female vocals that you will hear them and found them in traditional music of many countries of the balkan Era.Especially Hellas. The dark elements are many and that's something must in every R.C. release, this time are more darker that ever.Check the cover at Diamanda Galas and you will understand what I mean.Pyr Threontai and Eon Aenaos sometimes sounds like songs that was composed for behemoth I believe that those two songs with Santa Muerte are the key tracks of "AEALO" other great tracks are Aealo,Demonon Vrosis,Fire Death and fear.Noctis Era and Thou art Lord are weak for my taste Nekron Iahes is an intro for Pir Threontai that fits perfectly and dub-sag-ta-ke is boring.I cannot talk about Orders from the dead I'm still shocked and terrorized by fear and horror..Even if it is 2:15 bm
