HC:Hails Adar how’s the things at your lair right now?
Adar:Hey hey hey!!! Hello there!!! Everything is fine over here. I just finished with the new Omega tracks for the forthcoming 7” split with Ravencult. I also give an interview for the second issue of the Hell fukking metal zine made by the guy from Dynamite production. By the way check out the first issue of the zine its fucking perfect! With a lot of great underground band interviews and a lot of cool new record reviews!! Just like the 80’s real metal zines, black and white pages and only underground true metal bands!!!
HC:Omega is an old school Black Metal band with many Speed and Classic Metal Influences.What you can tell about Omega's biography?
Adar:Ohh I hate those bio questions but whatever. The band have been create at the winter of 2005 by me and in the beginning its start as a one man band, because I always wanted to make a old school black metal band in the vein of Venom, Hellhammer / old Celtic frost, Bathory, Bulldozer (first 2 albums), Motorhead and Discharge.! But then I met Perdator (bass) and Pwcc maniac (drums) and we started playing some dirty tracks that I was working on at that time! Then one year later we record our first demo (The beginning of the end) which was a title that I use from the Amebix single 1983 called (Winter) and this is one the most dark and misanthropic records I have ever heard, and nobody ever asked me about that! Fuck!! Never mind!! Then after the recording of the demo Perdator and Pwcc maniac leaved the band for personal and home reasons! Then i spoke with 2 friends of mine Minion of the antichrist (Drums) and Disaster (bass) which are living in a northern Hellenic town called Serres and I asked them if they want to play in Omega, without second thought the answer was (OK let’s do it) and then we started playing my new tracks that I was working on! Now after a lot of beers and hard work we finished with the recordings of our first album!
HC:Which are the bands that have possessed your mind and you cannot escape from them whatever you do for the rest of your life?
Adar:Well there are many bands and records that will possessed my mind eternally! First of them are of course mighty Darkthrone because I worship all of their records and they are one of the most respectful bands in the past but also in nowadays as they still support the real metal sound and attitude! Then Bathory both (black and epic) periods (Total respect)! Then Possessed from San Francisco, California! Then Slaughter from Toronto Canada! Then Aura noir from Norway! Then the first Venom records! Then the first 2 Mayhem records, Hellhammer demos and first 2 Celtic frost album, Then the first Sarcofago album and in the end but not the last I will eternally worship the best band ever in this fucking world called Motorhead!!!
HC:I know that your ethnicity is Bulgarian but you live in Hellas-Greece and you are the part of this scene.Which are the bands from this scene that you prefer the most? Do you know anything from the Bulgarian scene?
Adar:Yeah I’ve been born in the Balkan in a small town called (Smolyan) which is 2000 meters upon the sea in the mountains on the Bulgarian part of mountain Rodopi! But my grandfather is from Thessaloniki Central Macedonia Hellas that’s why I have a lot of Hellenic roots! And in age of 15-16 I moved here in Hellas for about 7 years now or something! The bands from the Hellenic scene that I most support are Zemial, Goat vomit, Ravencult, Revenge, Flames, Nocturnal vomit, Almighty Sathanas, Nadiwrath, Winter demons, Merciless Crucifixion, Witchcurse, Slaughtered priest, and maybe a few more…!!! I don’t know much about the Bulgarian metal scene but there are very good underground punk and crust bands over there! There are also die hard metal maniacs but there are not many real metal bands!!! The thrashers in the capital of Bulgaria (Sofia) are fucking crazy man!!! They are only a few but fanatic with the real metal sound!!
There is a bar is Sofia (the capital of Bulgaria) called Thrash zone and the last time I was in Bulgaria I visit this bar and it was fucking great!!! Cheap alcohol, cool people and fucking true metal all night long!!! The barman was also the DJ and he was playing all the night bands like Tank, Motorhead, old Slayer, old Sodom, Sarcofago, Morbid, old Sepultura, Nocturnal (Ger), Onslaught from the Power from hell album, Agent steel, Slaughter and fucking many many more great metal bands!! I leaved the bar drunk like shit and with a huge pain in my neck from the nonstop head banging all the night!!!
This bar is a real Thrash zone!!!
HC:Beer Blasphemy and Hellfire is the title of a song from your first demo...Do you believe that Satan is the founder of booze?
Adar:HAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! Of course!!! Satan is all that is Evil, Unholy and destructive!!! And of course the beer is satanic booze, because it may destroy your life!!! Many people have lost their lives because of the alcohol..!!! No Beer until metal..!!! Like my war brothers Blizzard from Germany said ones!!!
HC:Do you believe in Satan as a religion, as a philosophic entity or something like an Inner self? What do you believe about "Temple Of The Vampire" and "Church Of Satan"?
Adar:Satan is everywhere!!! In our daily life! In our minds! In our thoughts! In our actions!! Everywhere!!! Satan is the power that makes a guy to rape a women, it’s the power that make a women to fuck for money, it’s the power that makes 2 brothers to kill them self’s, it the power that make 2 or more countries to start a WAR, it’s the power that make you kill you self, Satan is Greed, Satan is Pride, Satan is wrath, Satan is lust, Satan is Envy, Satan is gluttony, Satan is sloth, Satan is all that is Evil…!!!

About the Temple of the Vampire I can say that they have a lot of great ideas, thoughts and meanings and if you really understand what they are talking about it may help you a lot in your daily life!!! They are antichristian Jews who have brainwashed a lot of people with their stupid ideologies and have bring a lot of people to their “religion” because of the free drugs, orgies, parties and very very rich and powerful people in the U.S.A!!!

HC:Rehearsals are for having fun with your band mates or it's a cult to you?Something like an invocation of spiritual inner powers from yourself.
Adar:Rehearsals are not fun at all…!!! I hate them!!! But I have to do it because I want to record our music and I want the sound to be the right one!!! The invocation of the spiritual inner self is the moment when the idea is coming in your head and you are playing it on your instrument or writing some lyrics and not at the moment when you are playing the all readymade song! If you understand what I mean!!! But yeah sometimes the rehearsals may be a fun!!! It depends of the mood that I will have at that time and maybe of how many beers I have drunk before that! Heheheheee!!!
HC:Your demo was very speed and filthy but it was dark and satanic the same time how did you manage to bring those two different worlds so close?
Adar:They are not in the different worlds because if you take Venom, Discharge, Warfare, Hellhammer demos, Motorhead, Bathory and play them all together it will sound the same like the demo!!! Hahahahaaaaa!!! Also if you hear the first 2 Venom records and Motorhead and play them more dirty and fast it will be like the first Bathory album! And if you play Bathory and old Celtic frost more dirty and fast you will understand from where the (a blaze of the northern sky) album is inspired, also the first Immortal album is a total inspired by Bathory! But this doesn’t means that the (A blaze in the northern sky) is not an original album back there in the early 90’s.! The problem was after that because everybody starts copy Darkthrone, Mayhem, Emperor, Burzum and everybody wanted to have the same production and sound like them! And it was a “gold mine” back there if your band where playing like them, because of all that things that happened with the church burnings, murders, suicides in Norway at that time with that entire commercial Media thing and the black metal started to be a trendy shit! That’s why I hate most of the new Black metal bands, because they are a fucking copy and nothing original! And that’s why I worship the first wave black metal bands, because they were all different for each other and they had a different sound and production! For example what is the similar in Mercyful fate and Bathory, in Venom and Sarcofago, in Hellhammer and Bulldozer, in first Sodom album and Tormentor from Hungary?? They are all different but they are all Black metal at the same time!!!
HC:I'm wait to see you on stage again.You will bring those things you always take at your lives(black bible,black candles) to make it look like a demonic invocation?
Adar:I’m trying every time to create the right atmosphere on the stage with different objects, symbols (pentagrams, crosses, bones, candles, blood) and other shit so there could be the right feeling when we are playing our tracks! I want to create the living hell…!!!
HC:I've heard that you have already some songs from your forthcoming album which sound KILLER and the bad sound quality didn't make them to sound weak!What can you tell for the whole brand new Omega LP?
Adar:Well in nowadays it’s very difficult to find a studio with analogical sound recording system! Because we hate the clear (baby ass) sound that most of the new bands have! That’s why we were trying to find a sound engineer that would make us the sound that we wanted!!! And the guys that we found understand what we wanted to do! That’s why the sound of our forthcoming album is simple, raw and dirty!!! Our debut album is called (Second coming, Second crucifixion) and 2 weeks ago we sign a contract with a German record label called Undercover / Evil spell and our first album will be out in January - February 2010 on CD and Die hard LP format for old school metal maniacs.

HC:Hey Witchkiller how's things?Are you drinking a beer or whiskey at the moment that you reading these lines or you had already watch a great porn movie at your dvd player?
Witchkiller: Hey man ,how's it hangin? I hope everything's cool with you. To tell you the truth i'm a fan of English real ale. The stuff we drink here in Greece is just piss of the lowest quality brother. But i occasionally have a glass or two of my "sweet desire" (Southern Comfort that is). Right now i'm havin' some coffe. For Lemmy's sake man, it's 5 'o clock in the noon ,don't tell me you drink during the day-time as well! Ain't watchin' no porn right now bro, sorry to disappoint ya,haha! But i had my share of "National Geographic" (i you know what i'm talkin' about) last night with some big tits rollin' on my VCR..........
HC:After a big break that is near a year or something you are ready to hit the stage one more time!Do you believe that your new members will gonna make it the same way or even better from the past members?
WK: Actually the new guy in the band is "Trouble" on the bass. I know this sounds cliche but HE IS the coolest bass player i've played with. He is a cross between Leo Lyons (Ten Years After) and Cronos(Venom). Plus he's an old school metalhead. "Machine" on the vocals re-joined the band after 2 years or so. This guy has potential. And i mean lots of it! He can sing like Piledriver ,in a way, and then he can start shriekin' like Sheepdog (Razor). Ain't that cool? "Mad Dog" ,the drummer ,is with me for like 6 years now and he remains the loudest and strongest drummer i've jammed with ,just what the doctor ordered!
HC:I think that this live it will be something really special to you.Don't drink tons of booze before you will go up to stage cause there is a danger to lose your way and wake up outside a door of a whorehouse!
WK: Actually this live will be special 'cause the bands we're gonna lay it down with are bothers, know what i'm sayin'? "Mortal Threat" are an INTENSE old school Thrash Metal band in the "Dark Angel" vein (first two lps) and when they start to play you can get carried away and start bashin' your face agianst a cement wall. While Verdict Denied ,really soulmates man, i think that they are the leadin' force in prog/Tharsh Metal right now.They are all highly skilled musicians ,they have this "Riff After Riff" sonic storm yet they play 100% old school Thrash Metal that grabs you by the throat!
As far as the "drink before the gig" thing.....nope man, ain't no drink before the gig. I know this sounds so "Steamroller Assault-not" but there was this gig that we were so damn wasted ,we couldn't fuckin' see straight! And i mean everything:ouzo ,wine ,scotch. We had a 40 min set and just when we finished our fourth song we got off stage. Our bass player at the time was so drunk he hit my guitar and got blood on his head (or did i hit him ,can't remember right now). I'd rather do a volcanic gig than get humiliated.................maybe a bourbon or two ,hehe.
HC:Don't you think that it would be a good idea to play in a strip hall?Having all these girls around you irrigate you with booze all the time?Could this fit at SteamRoller's Assault live perfomances?
WK: Man ,you're talkin' about a life's long dream now! Just imagine ,the band inside layin' down "Red Light Mistress" ,"Alcohol Pussy 'n' Rock'n'Roll" and "Devil's Bar" along with some blues tunes like "Hoocie Coocie Man". Mmmmmm, i think i got me some plans for the evening ,hehehe......................
HC:What's the crowd's reaction with the first music notes of your songs.For example Iron death...or should say red light mistress?
WK: Depends on the croud. If we're talkin' about old school metalheads brought up with dirt metal like Anvil ,Venom ,Motorhead ,Raven ,Piledriver etc etc then the house is rockin'. If they're not into that stuff then they try to deal with the noise (they'd better). It's a matter of taste! "Red Light Mistress" 'n' "Iron Death" are some of the tunes our few ,devoted fans want. Ain't nothin' better than 50 folks shoutin' "Iron Death".
HC:You referencing your music as boogie thrash metal..What is the boogieman for you?Is it a monster that is attacking the kids directly from the wardrobe?Or a creepy guy with a chainsaw that is possessed with Sodom?
WK:The "Boogieman" IS the king of cool ,Captain Slick him self, the one 'n' only :JOHN LEE HOOKER!
HC:Is there any new ideas for more SRA new material?I'm waiting for the successor of raw n' filthy!
WK: In a month or so we'll work out the details for two new songs in order to get a 7'' as soon as possiible out in the street. First song that is completed is called "Lesbo Action - When A Girl Love's A Woman". The second one has no title yet but don't you worry ,we'll give you something to remember. The plan says that it will be out on late January ,early February.
HC:Now days we have seen a big turn of the hellenick supporters to the old 80ies sound but apart from that this change is not only in music but in the whole style too.Personally I think that if you trying to be a look-alike of an "idol" decades bafore is something too much.But we live in a free society everybody can do whatever he likes.What do you think about that?
WK: Don't know ,i mean i do wear my bullet belt ,my leather jacket and my denim jean. Don't see what's wrong with that. Depends on how one feel's i guess. Eeeeeh, well ,ok ,fishnets ,lipstick and "Aqua Net" on guys is too much for me but if they feel cool with that, it's cool by me as well.
HC:What was the last night that you were hangover and throw your puke all over the place?Did you went to a strip bar too?
WK: Some three years ago ,returning from a gig ( i think it was George And The Dukes ,a local blues band that destroyed us that particular night) i tried to get my bones movin' (had a drink or two more than the usual) and go to the local strip joint but ,like 40 meters ,before i got there i fell asleep on the bus and had a wild hangover the other day. No pukin' though. Last time i puked was one year ago due to lame scotch. I hate pukin'.........
HC:Are you a football fan?Does metal and football come together?
WK: Yeah ,sure i am ,i support Panaitolikos ,the team from the town i come from ,Agrinio. Metal and football togother? What do you mean ,watchin' a game and listening to metal at the same time? Then i guess it does. But if you're talkin' about the violence 'n' stuff ,man ,it's damn stupid to hit a guy if he is another team's supporter same way is DAMN STUPID to beat up someone just 'cause he or she listens to a different style of music. Don't wanna sound the good boy of metal here but it is stupid to throw punches just 'cause you're different from the other (unless this other is an irritatin' asshole hm ,hm)
